Band Groupies

The weather has decided to stay cold for another week here in NYC, and I can think of only one reason that this makes me (a little) happy. I can continue to wear my Eva Scrivo cashmere headband, which I only discovered at the end of the winter season.   

As much as I love different winter hats, sometimes I can't handle the hat-head. This band is wide enough to fit over my ears, so it really does help keep me warm (they also come in alpaca and merino wool). And it looks a little modern but a little old-world, which I love.

There are also some great new spring headbands on Eva's site -- especially these metallic-leather "ballerina bands" (thanks to  Kendra for being my model!). All her bands are handmade and available in two sizes, and the site includes tips on how to measure your head for a perfect fit and how to style your hair when wearing one.
