Just as a quick update to my vacuum musings, apparently people are offering outfits for the Roomba. I have nothing further to say on the matter, as I think these ensembles speak for themselves.

Roombuds have been around for years at http://myroombud.com. One of these days, I'll get around to making my own, but the red of my roomba is so cheery by itself too! Hmm, maybe a ladybug.

A friend of mine said his kids adopted their Roomba for a pet. I can see they're not the only ones with that inclination!

i've read juuuuuuuuuuust enough science fiction to have the tiniest feeling that someday an army of roombas is going to take over the world, but i don't think i'd mind so much if they were dressed like cute little ladybugs and goldfish while doing it.
