Poster Child

Well, I thought I was finished tweaking my daughter, Sasha's, nursery when Page told me about a project that our former colleague Robin Rosenthal, is working on.

When Robin was an art director at our former sister publication Kids, she discovered that modern artwork options for children's rooms were scarce, and affordable ones -- fugeddaboutit.  So she decided (natch) to take matters into her own hands and designed these two graphic posters.  I especially love "Counting Birds."

Its bold color scheme will really complement my daughter's room (plus those chickadees are just so gosh-darn cute! I want to pat their little heads), while the simplicity of "Alphadot" is just sublime.

Both are a playful way for any child (whether they're young, or just young at heart) to learn their ABC's and 123's.  Order them from Robin's site and stay tuned for her additional designs.

what great posters .. I just ordered them...
thanks for the great info .. I miss the KIDS magainze

Oh, These are just lovely! I started a modern alphabet series of my own a few months back (you can see them on my website above) but I am so smitten with these!

i may be childfree (at least for the forseeable future) but i'm severely tempted to hang one of these on my studio wall anyway, because they are impossibly cute.

i checked out her other stuff on the site too, and it's completely adorable.

These are so lovely! Robin is a really talented designer/art director! PS. Somehow I missed the earlier post with Sasha's nursery. It is so sweet!

The chick one is pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen. I'll have to hurry and get knocked up so I have an excuse to purchase it ( :
