When I spotted these simple wooden houses on Hoping for Happy Accidents, I fell in love. They are so refined and modern that they would work as a decorative still life year-round -- on a sideboard or a mantel. The natural light wood is even more striking when accented by beautiful gray, green, and blue roofs. While some might consider them children's toys, I think they are sophisticated enough for adults.
