From The Runway: Fall Color Palettes
New York Fashion Week is in full swing! I love seeking inspiration for the home from fashion. Here's a roundup of some of my favorite looks so far from the current Fall 2008 shows. I'm loving the neutral grays and blacks mixed with extra muted jewel tones that seem to be one of the consistent color stories so far. Also, the skinny contrast belt details are beautiful and show how a small hint of contrast color can really pull a color story together.

Joy, I love how you distilled each runway image into its specific colorways to uncover consistencies running through the different fall collections. So interesting--fabulous post.

I love those blues!

Although I enjoy Joy's posts, Bluelines is turning into just another blog. There's tons out there just like it. The posts often lack the charm, wit, and aesthetic appeal of Blueprint. My favorite magazine is soon to be off store shelves and this is the replacement? No thanks.
