We're moving soon to a two bedroom apartment and I'm so excited to decorate my daughter Stella's nursery. A major source of inspiration is the book "Children's Rooms 'Stockholm'" that I picked up from Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya (also available at the amazing kids' store Pomme). The publisher, Jeu de Paume has more books on kids' rooms and kitchens from Paris and London, and you can purchase directly from their site. I can't wait to get my hands on "Kitchens 'Stockholm'".

a space fit for any stylish tot
a colorful mix of toys

"Stockholm's Gardens" is another really good one. My daughter loves it--she took it up to her room a couple of weeks ago and hasn't brought it down yet. I love pretty much anything Jeu de Paume.

That wasn't nice at all of me to leave such a negative comment, that will teach me to comment at "this time of the month". I am very sorry.

I love the energizing color. With a bedroom like that, the lucky child is destined for a life of beauty!

Yet another reason why a blog is a poor substitute for a magazine - I found this by accident when trying to find out when the next edition might be available. I was out of the country when the Jan/Feb edition came out and the bare newsstands told me nothing.
I cannot read the blog on the plane, in the coffee shop or curled up in my comfy chair. And the conceit that techies have regarding everyone having access to wifi and portable web devices is just so much hoo-haw.
I am very sad to see the demise of Blueprint as a real publication and will have to go back to reading my European magazines.

The Stockholm kitchens book is great, I bought it a few months ago in Paris, and now I want the whole set! I think it includes kitchens of people featured in other books because the little girl on the cover of the book above is in the kitchens book as well.
