Casey

thank you for sharing your vintage book collection! I've been buying old, how-to books for years and just love the graphics (and instructions too). they are so inspiring!

melanie

the covers are quite beautiful!

Lori

i have so many vintage sewing/crafting books, too - but none of these! you can quickly build up a resource library if you find these inexpensive gems. but now you're given away our secret! ;^)

cal

ooooh, i don't have ANY of those! and i have quite a collection myself! i'll have to search some of them on eBay ;o) i don't know how i missed you yesterday at the Flea, but i was freezing cold and forgot to find you! shucks...

i've been doing the same thing! my favorite (right now) are 60's knit hat/mitten books,, there's something so classic about the designs that you can't find from new patterns. i've had a lot of luck with vintage crewel books- there's always paisley in it!

annie

what a great collection! i'll have to keep my eye out for some of those, most of mine are just needlework.

Diana @ Please Sir

Great finds - I love vintage books (or vintage anything/everything!). So wonderful to hear you are inspired by these jewels.

recovergirl

these are gorgeous. it makes me want to dash out to all my local area thrift shops and start looking for similar books. thank you for the inspiration.

Elisabeth

Such nice eyecandy!
