Food Tour

I just got back from a quick trip to Portland, Maine. I was there to work, but spent a big portion of the time eating!

Dining in, dining out... both simple food and sophisticated... it was all so delicious.

Here are some snapshots of my meals in Portland, and a list of restaurants I highly recommend.

I think your blog may be too dangerous for my dieting... YUM again!

I'm heading to Portland for work next week and am so taking your list with me. Thanks!

ok, im jealous. i think we could be soul mates becaue everything ou have is topped with some kind of cheese!

The name of the tea shop is actually Homegrown Herb and Tea...Sara is the owner. I am so lucky to live around the corner from it!

did some hacker hack your blog? the above item about the TFL DVD and the link to the girls of a food network star seems so daring though some may bust a gut laughing I find the post disturbing as there is no author noted

next time I'm going, I'm going to check metroseeq.com, I missed out on some savings...

Yum! These dishes look scrumptious!! And the photography is lovely, as always.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I used to live in Portland and miss some of these places (especially Flatbread) so much!

Wonderful suggestions! Every time I go to Portland, I never know where to eat (aside from this tiny Vietnamese noodle shop...), so I'll have to try out these places when I later this summer.

Ooh, I've always wanted to visit Maine, and these restaurant recommendations are a little extra incentive! My stomach is growling just looking at the photos!
