The subtle flavor and gentle crunch of green beans work well with an amazing range of flavors (for proof, just check out our Deb's green bean party post -- and the ever-growing comments section). But an Asian stir-fry is always one of my go-to options when cheap green beans are crowding the market.
This one takes that Chinese take-out classic, szechuan string beans, as a jumping-off point, while tender pork, sweet bell pepper, and crunchy peanuts transform it into a real meal.
