As if the late afternoon rush to get dinner on the table weren't enough of a challenge, you have hungry hands to fill after school lets out. Let us help you with a few ideas to loosen up your late-afternoon crunch time!
Healthy: Our frozen fruit salad is a different way to get anyone to enjoy fruit. They'll recognize the flavors but enjoy the new textures and temperatures as they chew away.
Favorite: It's lucky that this crunchy caramel corn recipe makes a lot, because it goes fast. It's a great use of on-hand ingredients (and a little bit indulgent), and will earn you a lot of cool points from the kids!
Crave-worthy: Sneak in a healthy serving of veggies and protein with our pizza crackers. All it takes is a broiler or toaster oven, some crisp crackers, and pizza toppings for this snack. Your kids will gobble them up.

Kettle corn, hands down! In fact, once we bought a stove top popper, it was the only snack we ate for months! Come to think of it, I haven't made any kettle corn in a while....
