There's plenty of modern, fusion-type Chinese food out there, but sometimes I just want the take-out style favorites I grew up eating in front of the TV. Like Sweet and Sour Chicken, for instance. But now that I'm older and wiser, I love this homemade version, since it skips the oil-laden batter coating and lightens up the sauce with plenty of fresh vegetables (and no MSG). Pair it with a bowl of white or brown rice, and you won't even miss the fortune cookie.

This sounds so yummy! Do you have any recommendations for a soy sauce substitute? (allergies).
