Where to buy irises and other sources from today's show

Irigerbat_00589_l

Two great sources for irises are Cooley’s Gardens and  Schreiner’s Gardens, both based out of Oregon.  Cooley's focuses on bearded and Louisiana irises, while Schreiner's sells tall bearded irises, beardless irises, and even dwarf irises.

Forest Farm Plant Nursery is another Oregon-based nursery where you can get the willows and shrubby dogwoods we mentioned on today's show.

Check out www.Arborday.org to find out when your state celebrates Arbor Day, as well as information on tree planting.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden hosts its Cherry Blossom Festival April 28-29th.  Be sure to look into their All-Region Guide series.
