Martha,
I'm deeply sadden about the passing of Big Martha; she will be deeply missed. Over the years you had brought her into our homes, I thank you for that. You can tell she was a strong loving woman.
The passing of parent is never easy, but you have the greatest memories of her...and those memories will live on forever.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Martha, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I was shocked to read of the passing of your dear mother. I first "met" your mother via your television show one Christmas over a decade ago. Big Martha was demonstrating her baking skills in your East Hampton kitchen. I couldn't believe this tiny woman had so much muscle to manipulate that huge ball of dough with ease and dexterity. Quite impressive! Once again, please accept my deepest condolences at this very painful time.

Oh No! I'm so sorry Martha. My heart aches for you right now. I just came on the blog tonight after I put the kids to bed to see an update and then I saw your note. :( She had an amazing long life and I know you learned so much from her. I enjoyed every time you had her on your shows from the very beginning and laughed at the times you joked on the Set. I know we will never forget her and the amazing work she did. God Bless you and many sympathies for you. I'm so sorry.

I am heartbroken for you Martha...
I have been a fan of yours for so long ... and so I feel I have followed your life's journey.
The one thing that has always been very easy to see, was/is your love for your mother, and her's for you.
No matter how old we are, our Mother is always "OUR MOTHER".
Our one and only.
They love us with unflinching devotion.
Shameless in how proud they are of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family at the passing of such an inspirational woman.
How lucky you have been to have had her as your mother.
Deepest Sympathay

Martha, there are no words. Your mother has been an inspiration. She will always, always be remembered. I have tears as I write this. What joy she brought to this world with her persistence, love and generosity. I know how much you loved her. I can't tell you how much I'll miss her.
We are strangers, but I love you, Martha. Feel my hugs.
Yours,

I have been watching you on television for many years and have always enjoyed the segments that included your Mother she had a great laugh and smile. She seemed very proud of all your success. I lost my mother several years ago and would watch the two of you interact with a big smile on my face and a bit a jelousy since I no longer had that with my own mother. I will not tell you that time will heal your heart. The truth is a part of your heart will always be empty. The love you shared will always be with you. I am so thankful to have been able to have a glimpse of your relationship on television. God bless you and your family.
