What would a holiday party be without potato Latkes?

Eliad, my assistant seems to really be a jack of all trades! He was able to play most of the Carols by ear!
Chhiring (head forman) Rob Ford (My electrician) and Slavo (My head carpenter)
(From Right to Left) Kim, Erika, Sanu, and Jodi strike a pose
Carols are belted out while Eliad plays on...

(From Right to Left) Wilmer, Irma, and Fernando appear to be having a very good time!

Hi Martha!
Thanks for the fun photos. I've been storing up your holiday ideas for years for the day when I move into my first house (I'm still in college). The wreaths hung over the bookshelves (in the picture with Betsy) will be making my file a little fatter!

I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Elliot's Mom.We are very proud of him and all his acomplishments (and His teriffic new bride) and the fact that he was able to help you during your recovery. When I found out he was invited to your home for a Holiday party I needed to say Thank you for appreciating my son.I always tell him that the feelings a parent has when you see your child as a productive adult are very deep and sometimes hard to express, but hopfully, someday he will understand.I think that you understand what I am saying.I am a very proud Mother of 3 wonderful sons,3 terrific daughters-in law,2 delicious grand children and most of all my loving Husband of 36 years.Thank you Martha for adding that special time to Elliot and Jeannin. The memories will last a lifetime.

I was wondering if you would consider offering a DVD of Big Martha's recipes or clips from you television show. I loved watching her and enjoy her recipes. I would love to watch her on DVD.
Thankyou for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lee Woodman

Merry Christmas, Martha, and Happy New Year! Your home looks wonderful and the food looks delicious!
I have always been a big fan of yours and now my 24 year old daughter has "discovered" you.
I gave her the Homekeeping book for Christmas and she loved it! Now I will have to purchase a copy for myself! Sharon in AR

Dear Martha:
I watched the video of your mother kneading her bread as part of your tribute to her. I decided I would get out our family Christmas bread recipe. Our family makes a stolen type bread that we call "Tea Cake." I used your mom's method of kneading the bread, and the texture was just wonderful. The family member who gave me the recipe always left out a key ingredient. In this case she cut the flour required by 2-3 cups. Over the years I have perfected this recipe, and now I know how to knead too. Thank you so much for sharing the videos of your mom cooking with you. I am sure you will treasure these wonderful memories. I will always think of her kneading her bread as I do so each Christmas. Have a great New Year!

Thank you for sharing your holiday photos. I have your first Entertaining Book, and have loved making various dishes from it over the years. I am anxious to try one of your Costco hams during the holidays. Have a Happy New Year.

Dear Martha;
Today is my first day with you on your site and your blog. Great stuff and I enjoyed your photos. Great memories for you for the future.
I want to say too, I was sad at the passing of your Momma. I always liked it when she was on your show.
Your Momma passed on a great legacy to you Martha and you've been very generous to share some of it with the public. I appreciate you and your talents. a new friend, ruby

I love everything Martha, in my home! My Woodland feather tree is just precious. My 2008 Christmas wish is to get my hands on more feather trees--one for every room--in Silver, Gold, Lime-Green, and Blue...Oh yes, and a replica of the hanging acorns...Pleeeeeeeze!

Martha, thank you for sharing your holiday party photos with us. Your house is beautiful! I particularly enjoyed seeing some of your Turkey Hill furnishings making an appearance in your new Bedford home. Also, the architectural millwork is exquisite and suits your Federal furniture very well. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Happy New Year Martha!
I do not have TiVo to be able to record your daily show because I am still working fulltime... Oh how I love to see glimpses of you in our patient waiting room and your wonderful ideas and teachings.... I did one evening recently catch the beautiful tribute to your Mother, Martha.... I cried, and cried and cried... because I loved that little mother of yours and I too lost my adorable, intelligent, and in-great-health 91 year-old mother also in June... and I too, feel very fortunate to have enjoyed my mother's friendship and love for 6o years!!! They will both be missed greatly.... thank you so much for sharing your tribute with us... it couldn't have been nicer. May 2008 be a happy and healthy year for us both! Diana Cosgrove, Groveland MA

Martha:
Everyone looks like they had a great time. Thanks for sharing the photos. Recipes?? I'm going to try the ham for my 12th Night Party this year. The theme is Colonial Virginia foods but I want a sweet ham instead of the salty, Virginia ham. Yours should be just perfect with my menu. Have a great New Year!

I loved seeing your party photos. I am an avid "Martha" fan and have been for many years. I Tivo your show so that I don't miss a thing. I use all of your cookbooks and enjoyed the show about the anniversary of "Entertaining" book. I have the book, but it is not a first edition. Thanks for continuing.

Dear Martha,
My family lives in a colonial home in Denmark, Me. In looking over your farm photos,I was pleasantly surprised to see several of the same colors we have used in our 1789 home. I must say that I have been a long admirer of your show and magazine. Whoever does your photos for your magazine is wonderful! I believe that your magazine is the best there is on the rack. You are an inspiration to all of us who want to learn how to do things on our own. I have been a subscriber for years and have gotten my twin sister hooked as well. Our daughter Verity is a budding photographer and a senior in high school. How does one become a photographer for your magazine? We all can aspire to having dreams come true. We hope all of your dreams come true for the new year. Thank you again for such a beautiful magazine.

Made Big Martha's mushroom pierogi, as well as potato pancakes for Wigelia dinner(Christmas Eve). Both turned out great and were "smacznie". My Polish parents were impressed. It was my first time making pierogi from scratch; it was a lot easier than I had anticipated!

Hi Martha,
I love your show. I tape it every day and can't go a day without watching it. You are so wonderful and prepare the most wonderful foods. Not to mention all your Beautiful decorations. Till tomorrow's show.
Happy New Year

Hi Martha:
I know it's late to comment on your Costco ham but I want to tell you that is the best I have ever had and it was also the easiest Christmas dinner I have ever made! I served ham with macaroni and cheese, salad and corn. Everyone was thrilled.
I did want to tell you that I was very disappointed in Costco when I went to buy your ham. They had a person serving samples of ham, right next to the case where they were selling your ham. The problem is, they were serving their own, spiral cut ham! I thought that was very deceiving and I vowed to let you know. Sorry I'm so late.
I am a faithful follower of your show and magazine. Thanks for being there for all of us!!!
