Christmas spirit at the farm!
We had such a wonderful holiday party at my Bedford property on Friday, some of my animals decided to dress up for the occasion! I hope to show you some pictures from the party tomorrow. In the meantime, please enjoy these.
Carlos with Sharkey and Francesca. All of my animals love him dearly, he loves to come and play with "The Kids"
Rufus, Carlos, Billie, and Clive. Billie is being camera shy!

LOVE the pictures. Thanks for sharing. Have a Happy Christmas!

Dear Martha,
My Great-Great-Grandfather was a farrier in England. We are fortunate to possess the trunk he built for my Great-Grandmother to hold her possessions & sit on while in the hold of the ship that brought her to America. The hand made hinges, handle & corner protectors show his love as well as her initials painted on the lid. Merry Christmas, Martha from East Central Illinois.

Ok Martha I am taking a shot at cooking the prime rib tomorrow the one I talked to you and Lucinde about on the radio last week, lets hope I don't mess it up or should I say blow it up and over cook it!
Have a safe, healthy and happy New Year 2008. Enjoy the season.

My Mother lives in Winthrup, ME.(I
am in Col's OH) I called on Christmas Day and they were having the stuffed French toast recipe that I had sent for brunch !! It was so nice to see the beautiful get together photos on your site. Between your photos and the phone call it helped close the distance. THANK YOU

Hi Martha,
My husband and I had your basic roast chicken for Christmas (I used your brine recipe, as well) and we thank you. I have your Housekeeping Handbook, and love it - also, I'm from Naples, and remember the photos of you at the Winter Wine Festival a year ago. You looked so casually elegant. Thanks for the blogs, thanks for everything.

Loved the pets & party pictures especially normal clothes instead of fashion puff. Looked like the real deal. Hoping everyone has the best in 2008!

Hi Martha, I am new to your blog, but I still have a copy of your first (testing the waters?) issue of your magazine. I have learned so much, and have enjoyed each issue since then. EEE Gads! Was it really that many years ago?

I bought the Martha Stewart ham from Costco and my first thought was "i'm sure it will be good but how good can a ham be?". Well, I just wanted to say the ham was absolutely phenomenal and worth spending the extra money over a grocery store ham. The brown sugar & cognac glaze was delicious. It was hands down the best ham I have ever eaten. I cannot wait until Easter to have it again. My family LOVED it. You have done an awesome job with your first Martha Stewart food product. Thanks Martha and Costco!!!

Hi Martha!
Those donkeys are too cute! They are so well-behaved to both wear their hats and pose for a photo (even if some of them are a little shy!).
Merry Christmas!

I made your Gingerbread Townhouse Cake!!! Yum!! It was so beautiful that at first my guests thought it was fake. Everyone loved it. And the gingerbread itself was bendable and not like a brick when my kids wanted to try a piece even after staying out all day! Thanks Martha!!
