I get so many requests from viewers and readers who want to see more pictures of my pets. Well, I recently had so much fun taking pictures of Sharkey and Francesca hard at play. They have amazing energy levels and when they feel like running – watch out! Paw Paw just shakes his head and moseys along. And thank you for everyone’s concern regarding Paw Paw and his renal condition. After Dr. Marty’s latest treatment, my lovely chow chow seems so much happier. I’m sure he’ll be even more comfortable with the onset of warmer weather, which helps his joints to move better. There is even a photo of a surprise dogg, as well!
Francesca and
Sharkey are really playing at fighting. They can look so menacing.
"Please, let me in! I want a treat!"
Nap time for Sharkey
Enjoying a comfy place on top the hay in a planter
I just couldn't leave out Paw Paw!
The Dogg (that's how he spells it!) I hung out with the other day backstage at Letterman, my pal Snoop.

Adorable...
Guh rev maha-gut,
Kathy :)
p.s. I enjoyed your Irish show today !!

Martha:)
What beautiful babies. Sharkey and Francesca are little imps. They are like two babies that can't get enough playing. Then there's lovely, elegant Paw Paw.He reminds me of an older gentleman on his way to his club. The girls are 2 schoolgirls just out for the week-end. I love them all. Thanks for sharing.

Martha, your dogs are absolutely adorable. You take great images of them, and it appears you have captured their true spirit. Thank you for sharing them with us. I have two orange tabbies (or as they say in UK, marmalade shorthairs), and it takes a lot of work to take photos of them that bring out their gentle nature. Cats are difficult to photograph.

You look so cool hanging out with Snoop Dogg! The pictures of the pups are cute too! I spent the weekend at the Chicagoland Family Pet Expo in Arlington Heights, IL. There were so many interesting breeds and wonderful pet products. I'm thinking about adding another furry member to the family!

Hi Martha, I love the pictures of the dogs. I love taking pictures of my dog Samantha, a 6 year old Shih Tzu. What joy dogs bring to a weary world. I have never written to you before, but have been a fan from your first books. I am a Culinary Instructor at a High School in Philadelphia, a Pastry Chef and Artisan Bread Baker. In the 90's had a catering business in Bucks County and your books came in really handy. You have impeccable taste and I admire your spirit. I actually thought of you the other day when I was reading about Waldoboro, ME. They are conducting a feasability study for a Farm-To-Table Center for Culinary Arts Education and Entrepreneurship. I thought the idea was fantastic and I wanted to pass the the information on to you in case you wanted to get involved somehow, you know in your spare time. Lol. They do so much in Maine to educate children about healthy eating. I have wanted to move to Maine for years, I have been scanning web sites for culinary instructor openings or any other opportunity. Waldoboro would be a great place to be especially since it is so close to Primo Restaurant. Maybe if they open a culinary school In Waldoboro, I could work there. I would be so happy if I could raise my daughter in Maine. I don't know if this is the right forum to catch your eye, but I thought I would give it a try. If you ever need a hard working, dog loving, Maine loving employee just let me know.

All of your dogs are precious, but I always love looking at pictures of Paw Paw. I have a Chow/Australian Shephered mix. Whenever you talk about Paw Paw and his personality/traits, it's just like you are describing my Smokey! I've learned a lot about Chow Chows from you on your show.

Martha:
Thanks for sharing more great pictures of your pet family. I'm really glad to see Paw Paw back in action. He's my favorite, but the Frenchies are growing on me!

Always a pleasure and a treat when you feature The Three Musketeers Martha. My Chow Mrs. Bosley turns 12 on Wednesday and she is still going strong. She gets frisky when it is cool out but loves to soak up the sun like Paw Paw makes their joints feel much better.
I visited Glenn Close web site at www.fetchdog.com and read the interview there that you did for her. So cute a fun read. I also commented once I figured out the registry form beautiful photo of you and Pw Paw sitting on the lawn. Absolutely! Enjoyed your humor today on the St. Patty's Day Show Barbara oops I mean Martha!
Love the photos like I told you on Ask Martha Thursday you are a very good photographer as are your "buffer team" who travel with you LOL! Time to watch you on Conan Now it's on soon here.
Happy spring.

Nartha on the show today Monday you mentioned thinking of getting Paw Paw a taller food dish platform.
I bought one for my Chow a few years ago because she has arthritis which began about age 6-7. She loves the food stand as she can reach her food much better and not have to bend down at all or strain to try and stand so long to eat her meal. I measured her body and selected the stand that best fit her height and it has really saved wear and tear on her knees, hind legs and neck from trying to eat down so low to the floor.
I had to buy her a ramp to help her get in and out of the Jeep for groomer and vet visits as well as rides, it really has helped to ease her little body with trying to go up and down stairs. She is 12 now I hope you will get a high feeder for Paw Paw it will save him much wear on his body too. They work great and are easy to keep clean. I have the double dish for food/water and found the color that went with my chow!

Thank you for the opportunity to see your pets at the all dogs show Feb 7. We were there and loved it. My pair of Westies made it on camera three times. What a thrill for our family.

Your dogs are soo beautiful! I love dogs, and are thinking of adding a new member to our family, and I'm so charmed by the French Bulldog. I already have two Rottweilers; Hector and Luna, and I was wondering if you think the rase French Bulldog will like living in a home with larger sized dogs? They seem quite robust? We all love mountain hiking, and I'm also wondering if you think the rase would enjoy a bit of that?
Best Regards,
Monica

Hope you had a nice St. Patty's Day! Your appearance on Conan was a riot!
My Yorkshire terriers love watching your show too. My Martha barks everytime she sees your dogs on TV! She just knows dogs on the tube! LOL
We have 5 Yorkies and the two Martha and Stewart will be 13 in April!
Thanks again for showing what love and care you give your fur babies and glad to hear that Paw Paw is feeling better. Hug him for me!

You should have a contest where the winner gets to hug Paw Paw all day. I would enter! I want to hug that cutie so bad!

The caption where Sharkey is standing on the door should read
"Now why don't I have my own entrance by now?"

Sharkey and Francesca look lovely in their red coats!
I dropped by to look for coat patterns, and had to come and look at your Frenchies (of course).
Mine have almost as many outfits accumulated as yours dog - and they *definately* own more coats than *I* do!
