MMC in San Diego

Hi Martha!

. . .gotta love this blog. I'm seeing your Today Show pix before the show has even aired here in San Diego! Talk about up-to-the-minute.

Melissa

I love your segments on Today, especially when Matt hosts them, as he is such a picky eater. He's a good barometer for what's good.

No disrepect to Merideth!!

Cindy

I made the deviled eggs for my daughters graduation party. They were great. The wasabi was a nice change and surprize when you bit into one! A recipe I will keep for sure!

Trish

Sorry I missed you on the Today show but I want to say I loved the enticing photos of the burgers in the July issue and plan to make all of them! Burgers are my favorite food. I've never had wasabi in deviled eggs but it sure sounds good. I also want to try the wild rice salad with poblano peppers and some of your sandwich recipes in 'From My Home to Yours'. The July issue is especially fantastic! Trish

Martha, I forgot to say that I look forward to seeing your craft products in Wal-Mart because that store is so much closer to me than Michael's is. With gas prices the way they are, it's going to be great not having to travel so far when I'm in a 'crafty' mood! Trish

I have actually tried Turkey Burger- the rest looks delicious but I haven't tried it. Maybe I will now:-)

Janine

You look so pretty, Martha :)

Two posts in one day!!! We only get the magazine in the UK last week so I haven't made them yet, but this weekend I certainly will. The photos in the magazine are so good and the new layout is brilliant.

The article on burgers in the July issue is wonderful - and such stunning photography!

Hi Martha, What a great blog! I just watched the Today show and I loved your episode with Matt. You look so happy and rested. The burgers and deviled eggs look delicious. I used to make chicken and turkey burgers for my mom and she really loved them, even with little extra flavoring. I'm going to try your new versions because I do like more flavoring. I am also enjoying watching Emeril's and you show on FLN every night. Thanks again for sharing. Jan

Wow! The wasabi deviled eggs are GREAT! I have served them twice at two separate cook-outs and both times they were gone in minutes. I now have friends requesting them. So simple, yet so very delicious and a wonderful surprise from usual deviled eggs! Thanks, Martha!

Hi Martha, I envy your height. With your model physique, you never stand too tall for being with men that are under 6 feet. At 5'9",with heels, I've always felt too tall with men of that height. You are just right even though I'm really proud to be tall. You are so photogenic and look great next to Matt. Nan

Yummm... I'll have to try them thanks for your great cooking ideas(:) And I am glad you are back on TV, love your show~~..(:) Patty

I tried both recipes today, and my family absolutely adored both the tuna burgers and the wasabi deviled eggs. Thank you, once again, for helping me prepare a memorable, delicious and healthy meal!

The Burgers look wonderful. I'll have to try the Wasabi deviled eggs for our family picnic.

I usually don't throw compliments around to adults but I have been thinking that you look better than ever when I see you in your magazine or on TV lately!! I am a few years younger than you are and would like to know your secret!!!

Hi Martha,
I just came back from my first visit to the USA. 7 days in New York and 10 days in Cape Cod! (I loved it by the way).
I am so sorry to have missed the Today show with you (and your burgers). Luckily I brought back the July issue and I will certainly try out the burgers. Thank you for sharing all the things on your wonderful blog. You are a real inspiration.

Poland, Ireland, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon... and now MATT LAUER!!

What a great picture of you and
Matt!

It is a thrill to live through you vicariously!

You look amazing! So many people have commented on how happy you look and its true. The weekend at Skyland and boating must have agreed with you.

Sorry I missed seeing you this morning! The food looks incredible.

I like Matt Lauer. He is really keeping himself in good shape and his wife is a lucky woman. I remember seeing him as a rodeo clown He likes to take his chances!!!I think you both look so nice in the first picture.

Martha - I have not tried these recipes, but last night I did a contest between your lemon bars and the Cook's Magazine version - NO CONTEST!!! Your yummy, creamy and INSANELY MORE SIMPLE lemon bars took the blue ribbon at my house and here at work - we all voted and you won! Thanks for sharing.

I have been to New York before it was so fun I would love to go back I am from the country so it was really different but I am totally in love with NY!! I went for three days!! Its like a never ending party because at 2:00 am people were still driving around but where I am from only 1 car goes buy that late !!! My favorite thing about it was F.A.O Shortz Toy Store that was awesome!! I got a seal and hippo !! HIPPO= York
SEAL= Liberty

I've made the deviled eggs. They're GREAT! I love the little kick the wasabi added. Yum!!

By the way, that color pink looks really good on you. You and my sister have the same hair color and skin tones...maybe I should suggest she try that pink. (See? You inspire without even trying!)

Pam

I have not tried the wasabi deviled eggs, but I definitely will in the future. My sister and I catered our brother's wedding in 1982 and made three different types of deviled eggs: blue cheese, liver pate and fresh horseradish. The wasabi probably doesn't make you cry until you eat them!

When my mother died recently and I put together the display board of her wedding picture, old playbills from plays she was in, photos, etc., I bought the paper to mat everything on at Michaels. With a lot of families assembling this type of tribute display and having to do it quickly, do you have any plans for a line of scrapbooking items for such use? It surely would make the project much easier to put together when time is so limited. Thank you!
