Three adorable puppies came to visit me!
I am bumping this post up since it was featured this evening on USA Today's entertainment blog (make sure to "BUZZ" this story upwards!) For the new people just coming to take a look, make sure to check out all of these adorable photos as well as the rest of my blog.
Paw Paw's grandsons came to visit my farm for the first time. I am supposed to choose.
Come have a look!
Who to choose? How to choose? Here they are -- No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 chow chows.
They came to visit with co-owner Karen Tracy from Pazzazz Chow in
Pennsylvania. Look how adorable they are, and how comfortable they are
atop the servery counter. Welcome to cute overload territory once again!
They loved the Kawasaki ride just as much as the Frenchies and Paw Paw. They are like really cute stuffed teddy bears.
Gnawing, teething -- it's the same thing at this early age -- a tree wire stake was the perfect place to sharpen those canines.
Carlos, my driver and pet sitter, came to see the babies -- he loved Paw
Paw so much and he, of course, wanted me to get all three puppies.
For some reason, I think I am favoring the puppy on the right.
But, maybe the puppy in the center?
Oh, but maybe the puppy on the left?
Realistically, if I took all three puppies, it just wouldn't work. Three male chows would fight it out until the end.
Here's a great picture of all of us. Whenever I pose with these puppies, I feel happy!
Yawn -- the babies are getting a bit tired of all the attention.
Look at this boy sniffing around the cat food containers -- all chows seem to love dried cat food.
He's getting bolder and is climbing up onto the shelf!
He's trying his hardest to open the container.
This chow loved Francesca and Sharkey's stuffed toy.
Look at the coloration and the large paws!
A stuffed goldfish doesn't have a chance in the jaws of a chow!

OMG!!! How are you going to decide?! You may as well just draw a number from a hat - what does it matter?! You can't go wrong. They are all so insanely cute!!!!!!!

All are the cutest pups I have ever seen. How could you ever choose? Good luck and enjoy Martha!

Hi Martha, WOW! OH! AH! How absolutely precious these three babies are! You look so happy holding them! I can't stop smiling and Ohing and Ahing so I can only imagine how you must feel actually cuddling these precious babies. Now the job of chosing just one. OOH, that will be one tough decision. Did the girls get to meet them yet? Maybe their presence will help you decide. This is one fantastic blog! I can't stop smiling and now my jaws hurt! Thank you so very much for sharing these happy, special moments. Jan

Seeing all those cute puppies makes me want to get a new one too, but I don't think my two year old German Shepherd would be very happy, he's very much a Mama's boy. Personally I would choose the adventurous one who was climbing on the shelf, but that's only because my dog climbs on shelves/counters/chairs/me/anything available. It really is a tough decision though, they're all so precious, you could try what my Mom does to choose, she sit down and let's the puppies come to her and whoever is first is who she chooses. I didn't have to make a choice luckily, my dog was the only sable male of the litter and that's exactly what I wanted. Good luck choosing Martha, please post some more pictures, especially when you have made a decision!

There is no way to choose between the three of them. They're IMPOSSIBLY cute. All for one and one for all. I think they had you as soon as they laid down on that counter!
I also love how one of them always looks sleepy in the triplet shots!

they are all so sweet! one of them seems to have perfect ears! I can believe it would be hard to pick the pick of the litter with these three!

I'm more for adopting pets from shelters but they're so cunning and adorable! How can you choose? Let two be picked by someone else first and take the one left over? Are they all dog show-worthy? At least each will go to a good home so, happy ending.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I had'nt thought about three males clashing as they get older. I guess one will always want to be 'top dog'. I love the urns you have on your counter tops by the way. Thanks Martha for some great pictures to start my day.

I do not envy you this choice at all. But how delightful that you were able to have this day with all three! They look so amiable and content. I'm sure they were told to be on their best behavior! ;D

Martha you look so happy with the puppies. You are beaming with pure joy. Did the puppies meet Sharkey and Francesca? You have a very hard decision to make, good luck. Which ever one you pick will surely be one lucky little guy as you can see how much you love them puppies.

Hi Martha!! If I was to chose, I would do some things that you used to do with Paw Paw and which ever one acts the way he did towards certain objects or activities would be the one!!
Posted by: Paula | August 12, 2008 at 06:14 AM
These are absolutely the best pictures of you. You look great!!!
Good luck on your decision. He will be a lucky dog indeed.

How Cute these Chows are. The choice will certainly be a difficult one for you. I am glad I do not have to make the decision!
I will look forward to seeing which one you choose as I am sure as soon as your new television season starts, you will not waste anytime showing him off to the viewers and possibly asking them to help choose his name.

You do look very happy with them. Here's an idea. Tie a different color ribbon on each puppy. Snip the ends of the ribbon and put it in a hat and draw the one that's meant to be. Gosh, they do look really cute. I would get all three but I think you are right though, once they mature, the fighting will be endless.

It's nice to see how exuberantly happy these puppys obviously make you! The right (not the one at the right, necessarily) one will choose you (if that makes it any easier). I'm sure you're looking for clues for its choice. Maybe the one with Carlos? Or the one with the sly look?
