I am bumping this post up since it was featured this evening on USA Today's entertainment blog (make sure to "BUZZ" this story upwards!) For the new people just coming to take a look, make sure to check out all of these adorable photos as well as the rest of my blog.
Paw Paw's grandsons came to visit my farm for the first time. I am supposed to choose.
Come have a look!
Who to choose? How to choose? Here they are -- No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 chow chows.
They came to visit with co-owner Karen Tracy from Pazzazz Chow in
Pennsylvania. Look how adorable they are, and how comfortable they are
atop the servery counter. Welcome to cute overload territory once again!
They loved the Kawasaki ride just as much as the Frenchies and Paw Paw. They are like really cute stuffed teddy bears.
Gnawing, teething -- it's the same thing at this early age -- a tree wire stake was the perfect place to sharpen those canines.
Carlos, my driver and pet sitter, came to see the babies -- he loved Paw
Paw so much and he, of course, wanted me to get all three puppies.
For some reason, I think I am favoring the puppy on the right.
But, maybe the puppy in the center?
Oh, but maybe the puppy on the left?
Realistically, if I took all three puppies, it just wouldn't work. Three male chows would fight it out until the end.
Here's a great picture of all of us. Whenever I pose with these puppies, I feel happy!
Yawn -- the babies are getting a bit tired of all the attention.
Look at this boy sniffing around the cat food containers -- all chows seem to love dried cat food.
He's getting bolder and is climbing up onto the shelf!
He's trying his hardest to open the container.
This chow loved Francesca and Sharkey's stuffed toy.
Look at the coloration and the large paws!
A stuffed goldfish doesn't have a chance in the jaws of a chow!

Martha - Please don't disappointment me and only take one, they need each other and you need all 3 of them..... Don't give me that crap about 3 males fighting, properly trained (which you will do) they'll all get along fine. They are the cutest puppies and you look very happy with them. TAKE ALL THREE!!!!!!

I don't know what to tell you. They are all so sweet. I am sure you will make the right choice. Keep us posted!

Martha, I got a feelin' you're goin to end up with all three, but if not, about the only way to choose is the old fashioned way: "Eeeny, meeny, miney, MO."
It's very scientific!

Adorable x 3! The middle chow with his paw out looks like such a regal pose, I choose that one!

Martha.
I love the picture where the puppy has his head resting on the orange toy. How cute is that?

My sister and I have been viewing these pictures sent you first posted them. They are adorable! I don't know how you can choose. You are in a position to take all 3. They all have different personalities just like children you can enjoy each one for what they each have to offer. Good luck! We will continue to visit your website and look at the pictures.

It shows in your pictures how good loving one or all of these puppies would be for you. They are adorable. Hope you decide for yourself the right choice to make. This is a decision that will be part of your life for the next 12 or so years. Keep us in touch with whatever you decide. Nan

Oh Martha!! You have a very difficult decision ahead of you. They are all SO cute, I just can't stand it! I've said all along you should just take all 3, but you have a good point about 3 male chows in the house. That would be tough. I love the one on the right of the picture posted just below Carlos...

Charles Schulz was so right. "Happiness IS a warm puppy." They are absolutely adorable! There is no doubt one of those little guys will bring you such joy, Martha.

Martha, they are all so adorable! Maybe you should ask your other 'paws' to pick or, take them all home!
I'll send you my book, PET E.R. GUIDE (A Directory of 24-Hour and After-Hour Veterinary Facilities in the United States), it is a book in response to traveling with our paws and not being able to find veterinary help after normal business hours. Now, that is a book you WON'T want to leave home without it as you add to your family.
May all of your pets always be happy and healthy and full of fun! They bring us 'pet parents' such joy!!!
Happy Trails and Happy Tails!

I have a Paw Paw granddaughter and a great grandson and great granddaughter. The puppies are wonderful and I know how hard it is going to be for you to select just one. BTW, I have two boys (littermates) who run together all the time and I've never had a problem with them fighting!! They are almost 3 now, for what that's worth!!!

I would not be able to make a decision on which puppy..they all melt my heart. I am sure which every puppy you select, IT will be loved like your beloved Paw Paw..

Oh my goodness they look like stuffed animals! How can you choose!
Posted by: happyathome | August 12, 2008 at 08:39 AM
those puppies are more than adorable, but i understand when you say they would fight. i have two female dogs that were abandoned in my neighborhood which the vets tell me are part chow. they were together about two years and would sometime get in little fights and then right after easter of this year one of them tried to kill the other one. We were at the vets everyweek for six weeks before they would even stitch the long gash on lady's shoulder. Watching a dog fight is a horrific experience. I was lucky i had a neighbor with a fence where i could keep her while i was at work and until I split my fenced in back yard with a chain link and wood fence where they can not even see each other. I love both my dogs but it has been a real problem keeping them away from each other. i know it will be hard picking one, but the others i know will have wonderful homes with people what will give them undivided attention, too.

Of all the pictures I've seen of you, I have never seen you look so happy as you do in these. You're beaming from the bottom of your toes.

Martha, being a dog mom suits you perfectly!!
These are the most beautiful photos of you and that's because you are crazy happy.
Bonding with dogs is the coziest place on Earth!!!
Which one to choose? Does it matter? Every dog that is well cared for and loved to a gushy extreme is going to be a great dog!
Your obvious joy has made my day a little happier too.
Thanks!!
