About Darcy

Darcy Miller is the Senior Vice President and Weddings Editorial Director for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (MLSO). She is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the weddings brand across all of the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. business segments: publishing, broadcasting, merchandising, and internet/direct commerce. She has been actively involved with Martha Stewart Weddings since the first issue in 1995. It is currently published four times a year, and each issue circulates to more than a million readers.

Ms. Miller’s role at MSLO includes television appearances on the company’s nationally syndicated television program, MARTHA, as well as hosting “The Wedding Planner” on the Martha Stewart Living Channel on SIRIUS Satellite Radio, In addition, Ms. Miller is an adviser on all content for the Martha Stewart Weddings magazine; Martha Stewart Weddings books; the development of Martha Stewart Weddings merchandise; and the wedding section of www.marthastewart.com, MSLO’s web site.

Under Ms. Miller’s editorial leadership, Martha Stewart Weddings has become widely recognized in a highly competitive marketplace but also as a quality publication in the industry. Under her guidance, Weddings won six Society of Publication Designers Merit awards and the National Magazine Award for General Excellence (circulation: 250,000 – 500,000) from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) in 2005.

Ms. Miller is also heavily involved in the promotion of the Martha Stewart Weddings brand via interviews and appearances for radio, television, and print ads. She has appeared on NBC’s The Today Show, Extra, The Insider, CBS’s The Early Show, ABC World News Now, and various local news programs, as well as cable television specials, including the Lifetime channel’s Weddings of a Lifetime series, and radio interviews with WOR’s Joan Hamburg.

Ms. Miller is the author and illustrator of Our Wedding Scrapbook, published in December 2004 by HarperCollins Publishers. She is also a frequent lecturer on all aspects of the weddings industry. She has made appearances at the Vera Wang Bridal Salon, Bloomingdale's, Crate & Barrel and Borsheims.

Ms. Miller joined MSLO in March 1992 as an Editorial Assistant. During her tenure, she was appointed Assistant Editor in March 1994 and Associate Editor in October 1994. In July 1996, Ms. Miller was promoted to Weddings Editor and in 2002, she assumed her current position as Senior Vice President and Weddings Editorial Director.

Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also active in fund-raising for breast cancer research as well as children’s cancer care.
