Over the years, we at Martha Stewart Weddings have featured the most amazing wedding cakes, thanks to the help of our highly talented contributor, cake baker extraordinaire Wendy Kromer. Martha and Wendy have teamed up once again to bring you Martha Stewart's Wedding Cakes (in bookstores now), a compilation of all of the beautiful cakes that have graced our pages—over 100. Take a look and you'll find cakes inspired by everything from lace fabric to nautical flags. I love the seven tier piped classic featured on the cover. Which would you choose?

This must be a lovely book. On my wish list !

During the show today Darcy and Martha were discussing bride's and the word "Bridezilla" was used. Wichita,KS just this past week had an annual wedding/prom Expo. At the show was a most marvelous "Bridezilla" cake, complete with wrist floral bouquet, painted toe nails, bridal veil, a tiny groom was being held at bay and the wedding cake was in the corner! This cake is a hoot! The original T-Rex cake was done for a charity benefiting "The Children's Miracle Network" and Vicki (the second generation decorator behind this fun cake) thought it would do well for a poke at the infamous "Bridezilla". Needless to say it was a hit. Everyone was giggling and pointing as they passed by. The cake was also featured on the front cover of our local newspaper The Wichita Eagle the following Monday. The website for Cameo Cakes is www.cameocake.com and I do believe the cake is pictured there. Many marvelous cakes have come out of this small family run bakery in business since 1972. Enjoy.
