Dry Cleaning the Gown -- J. Scheer & Co.

We've returned from Liesl's wedding in Nashville and now it's time to make sure everything is taken care of properly. J. Scheer & Co. is a firm specializing in conservation cleaning treatments and preservation of wedding gowns and ceremonial costumes. All cleaning is achieved with the use of organic solvents that are more eco-friendly than the traditional synthetic solvents typically used by conventional dry cleaners.
If you are leaving straight away for your honeymoon, delegate someone to send your dress to the cleaner.

Once Liesl's is cleaned, it will be donated to the I Do Foundation. It must be 3 years old or less, cleaned, stain free, and have documentation with proof of purchase of the dress.

Liesl's bridesmaid Hannah's dress, from Amsale, made of 100 percent muslin will be donated to glassslipper.org. To make a donation, check out glassslipper.org -- they welcome donations of formal dresses, shoes, evening bags, jewelry, and unused makeup.
