After 14 years of putting weddings together at Martha Stewart Weddings, I still love the process of planning—I always say it's as important as the wedding day itself. Now, I'm thrilled to share some of that behind-the-scenes experience with you. Starting next week, Grace Bonney, of Design*Sponge (as if the editor of one of our favorite blogs needs any introduction) will be guest blogging weekly on the Bride's Guide to tell you a bit about what's going into the planning of her own springtime wedding in Savannah. She recently met with our editors to discuss details, and—of course—she has tons of inspiring ideas; we feel lucky to be able to share some of them with you now, but we'll save a few surprises for when Grace's wedding appears in our magazine! Hi, can't wait to read more from Grace. I too am engaged and getting married on Cape Cod in May. I feel very overwhelmed by the process, but I'm trying to just tackle the list. The best thing I've done so far is a fabulous custom Save the Date by the amazing Felix Fu in Boston. Happy planning!
