I'm doing lavender and a pale yellow...I am using irises and other purple flowers and having yellow bridesmaid dresses...adorable!

Lavender and white is totally lame and anemic. For "princess" themed 5th birthday parties, fine. But a sophisticated accent color will make the lavender seem much more grown up for the sake of the groom!-- Try marigold yellow, orangey-red, navy blue, or even a darker eggplant purple... Something rich, inspired perhaps by the movie, "monsoon wedding"?

I love the idea of Lavender as it signifies the color of change and is a calming color. Purple is all about creativity and spirituality. Ok, I'll fess up, purples and lavender are my favorite colors so I am a little biased! I love those little truffles...sweet!

I've always been partial to violets, so a purple palette really appeals to me. I prefer the darker hues because they're so rich and regal. Speaking of rich...who could resist those truffles?

Beautiful color, I especially love the moon and star cake! Check out these lavender favor tags I created with Martha Stewart butterfly punch for weddings!

The Perfect Palette

Crescent Moon Paper

lovely, delicate palate. I love the stronger purples in the floral too!

YES! I am planning a bit of a purple color scheme for my wedding this June. The bridesmaids dresses will be Jasmine Bridal #L1073 in the color Victorian. Which is very fitting because the reception will be in a Victorian mansion, with a very romantic ambiance. I very excited and I would like to use violet and lavender as colors and flowers through out. I'm thinking the favors will be small jars of local lavender infused honey. Anybody have any other ideas for me?
